 The only place I go for a trim, cut or a wax... Nikki is my gal but I've seen Melissa and Christina on occasion and they are all fantastic with the shears and super friendly.
I brought my mom there for a girls' day the last time she came to visit and she hasn't stopped talking about it since. |

Candy at Darin Jon is the shizz. If she ever leaves Santa Barbara, I don't know what I'm going to do because she seriously is the best hairstylist in town. In fact, everyone at Darin Jon is amazing. The "works" costs me about $100 a pop plus some tippage, and it's worth every penny because they take the time to do the job right. |

you are driving where? and to do what??
i know, i'm crazy but i drove from SJ to SB to get my hair cut. i'm a girl and i'm entitled to do what makes me happy, right??!!! i was in dire needs of getting my locks trimmed/chopped/hacked :)
my sister introduced me to this salon during my last trip to SB and i've been hooked. i was losing hair stylists left and right...once i become addicted, they up and leave to more $$$ salons (and no i'm not going to pay $100 to get my hair cut...are you crazy?!)
Niki M. was a breathe of fresh air. as soon as i sat down in her chair, i knew that i'd be coming back. her bubbly and carefree personality reflected in her own hairstyle. i sat back and relaxed as i was getting my hair shampooed. i always ask for cuts that don't suit my hair texture or shape (damn you celebrities w/ perfect hair). after a couple of minutes of babbling from me, Niki told me not to worry and that she would give me a cut that was easy to manage and took minimal preparation.
voila - 40 minutes later, i walked out of the salon w/ an A-line bob. she chopped 5 inches from my hair and i felt like a brand new person.
i can't wait til my next appt - whenever that is... |

So I went in for the first time today, after passing by it many times and I am very pleased with the result. I love Marcello. Not only was he easy to talk to but he spent a lot of time perfecting my cut. Besides the cut, the experience was also very pleasant. The staff members were extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed with beverages. I will definitely go back and will recommend it to my friends as well. |

I've only been here once, but my experience was great. I am very particular about my haircuts, but don't want to spend a fortune on them. This place is affordable on a modest budget and compared to my hair salon back home, it's only $6 more a haircut (depending on your stylist). The decor is nice and the service is great because they have water and tea for their costumers! I also got a scalp message with my haircut which was awesome! The staff actually listen to you when you tell them what you want and they give their opinion as well (if you ask them). My stylist was quick, but did a wonderful job. |

i LOVE MY CUT, ALL THE STYLISTS HERE REALLY KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING and they really take the time to consult with you about what you dislike about ur hair - nip tuck style "tell me what you don't like about your hair?"- I had Christie and she gave me the best cut ive ever had, this is the only salon I will be going to now that ive found it! |
